About
Pennsylvania-born and raised, Judy Paster began writing songs and playing guitar at age 8 out of pure creative inspiration. In her pre-teen and teen years, she walked through seasons of trauma and loss, and music kept her steady and gave her hope. Later, an encounter with the Lord deepened that hope and steadiness, shaping the voice and message she now shares with others. A period of living on the road out West expanded her horizons and deepened her craft, and her father’s battle with dementia shaped both her songs and her voice.
Now based in Nashville, Judy writes and performs Country, Americana, and Folk songs of courage, strength, loss, redemption, and hope. Audiences often say her music leaves them feeling peaceful, encouraged, and “just what they needed.”
Her artistry has been recognized nationally—Billboard called her “an artist truly on the rise,” her songs have been featured in film and TV (Christmas Crush, The Holiday Exchange, Music City Mistletoe), and she has received awards including the Josie Music Award for Folk/Americana Artist of the Year and a Covenant Award for co-writing Jazz Blues Song of the Year. She has performed with Grammy-winning members of The Time Jumpers, released five albums, and frequently takes the stage at Nashville’s world-famous Bluebird Café.
Through her music and storytelling, Judy creates authentic, heart-driven connection—and is currently booking her signature offering, Peace in the Chaos.
